Steak Cooking Shortcut




Tuesday March 21, 1995

1.  When cooking a 2" thick steak, Cook on high in microwave oven for 30-35 seconds,
then finish in sauté pan, grill, broiler or oven.

2. When cooking a 1½" thick steak, cook on high in microwave oven for 22-28 seconds,
then finish in sauté pan, grill, broiler or oven. 

3.  When cooking a 1" thick steak, cook on high in microwave oven for 15-20 seconds,
then finish in sauté pan, grill , broiler or oven.
