These Cheeseburgers are EARLY BIRD CHEESEBURGERS because they have the cheese in them before they are cooked, unlike most cheeseburgers.
Makes 2-8 servings
8 BURGERS
- 2 lb ground beef
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup real bacon bits
- 1/2 tsp fresh ground black pepper
4 BURGERS
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/8 cup real bacon bits
- 1/4 tsp fresh ground black pepper
2 BURGERS
- 1/2 lb ground beef
- 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tbl real bacon bits
- 1/8 tsp fresh ground black pepper
- In a bowl sized according to the weight of the meat in the recipe, combine cheese,
bacon bits and pepper.
- Mix in ground beef, 1/3 at a time.
- Shape into 4-5 oz rounds, wrap and freeze until ready to use.
